1. Application and Developer Identity

RunTrack+ is a mobile marathon-tracking application published on Google Play by Sawali Wahyu, an individual developer.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

• Full name.
• Email address.
• RunTrack+ user ID.
• Authentication information processed by Firebase Authentication.
• Body weight, when provided for estimated calorie calculations.
• Profile image or profile-background references, when voluntarily provided.

Precise location information

When a user starts tracking or route recording, RunTrack+ collects precise device location information. Location collection may continue in the background while an active tracking session is maintained through an Android foreground service.

• Latitude and longitude.
• Current participant position and recorded route.
• Start, checkpoint, and finish locations.
• Movement direction, location accuracy, and update time.
• Distance from the event route and on-route or out-of-route status.

Event, tracking, and race information

• Events created or joined, room codes, categories, routes, and event participation.
• Distance, elapsed time, pace, speed, and estimated calories.
• Checkpoint records, race results, achievements, and leaderboard information.
• Favorite-runner selections and related monitoring preferences.

3. How We Use Information

RunTrack+ uses information to:

• Create and authenticate user accounts.
• Provide live marathon tracking and route recording.
• Display participant positions and routes on Google Maps.
• Calculate distance, pace, speed, elapsed time, and estimated calories.
• Detect checkpoints and determine whether a participant is outside the configured route corridor.
• Generate visual, notification, and voice warnings.
• Synchronize event, tracking, and race information between devices.
• Display favorite runners, event participants, and leaderboard results.
• Provide support, security, troubleshooting, and data-deletion services.

RunTrack+ does not sell personal information or precise location data.

4. Information Visible to Other Users

During active event tracking, information may be visible to users participating in or monitoring the same event. This may include the participant name or user ID, current location, recorded route, distance, pace, speed, elapsed time, checkpoint progress, tracking status, race category, and leaderboard position.

This disclosure is limited to providing RunTrack+'s live-tracking, event-monitoring, favorite-runner, route-visualization, and leaderboard features.

5. Third-Party Services

RunTrack+ uses the following service providers:

• Firebase Authentication for account registration and authentication.
• Firebase Realtime Database for storing and synchronizing user, event, tracking, route, checkpoint, and race-result data.
• Google Maps and Google Play Services for maps, location functionality, and route visualization.

These providers may process data as necessary to provide their services and are governed by their own privacy and security terms.

6. Data Security

RunTrack+ uses authentication controls, Firebase database security rules, and encrypted network connections provided by Firebase and Google services. No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Data Retention

Active live-tracking data

Active live-tracking data is retained while a tracking session is running. When the user properly finishes the tracking session, the active live-tracking record is removed from the active monitoring database. If a session ends unexpectedly, temporary live-tracking data may remain until application cleanup, account deletion, or a verified deletion request.

Account and profile data

Account and profile data is retained while the RunTrack+ account remains active.

Saved routes, results, and event data

Saved routes, race results, checkpoint records, achievements, favorite-runner information, and event-participation data are retained so that users can access activity history and event features. This data is retained until it is deleted through an available application function, the account is deleted, or the user submits a verified deletion request.

After account deletion

In-app deletion is processed after the user confirms the request and successfully verifies the current password. Verified email requests are processed within a maximum of 30 days.

When an account is deleted, RunTrack+ deletes the associated account profile, live-tracking records, saved race results, routes, checkpoint records, favorite-runner information, and event participation where applicable. An event created by the deleted user may be retained without the deleted user's creator identifier when other participants still rely on that event. If no other participant remains, the event may be deleted.

RunTrack+ does not intentionally retain personal data after completed deletion, except where limited information must be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Residual copies may remain temporarily in service-provider backups until overwritten according to the provider's backup cycle.

8. Account and Data Deletion

Users may delete or request deletion of their RunTrack+ account and associated data.

Delete through the application

Enter the current account password and confirm Delete Permanently. The application will delete the associated RunTrack+ data and Firebase Authentication account.

Request deletion without the application

Users who cannot access RunTrack+ may submit a deletion request through the public RunTrack+ Account and Data Deletion page or by email.

The request should include:

• The email address registered with RunTrack+.
• The RunTrack+ user ID, if available.
• A clear statement requesting deletion of the account and associated data.

Reasonable verification may be requested to confirm account ownership. Verified requests will be processed within a maximum of 30 days.

9. User Choices and Rights

Users may:

• Start or stop an active tracking session.
• Enable or disable precise-location permission in Android settings.
• Request access to or correction of account information.
• Request deletion of specific data.
• Delete the entire account and associated data.

Disabling location permission may prevent tracking, route monitoring, checkpoint detection, and related features from working.

10. Children's Privacy

RunTrack+ is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If such information is identified, it will be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when application features, data practices, service providers, security procedures, or legal requirements change. The current version will display a revised “Last Updated” date.
